When floor space is limited, visibility can move upwards.

Developed for a major aerospace exhibition, two large helium-supported ceiling elements transformed a difficult stand location into a highly visible presence across the exhibition hall. Suspended without structural columns, the white floating surfaces moved gently in the ambient air while carrying the brand far above the conventional visual level of the surrounding stands. This is an original photograph that has been edited using AI to show the clean lines of the flying ceilings/clouds more clearly.

For exhibitions, events and brands, floating structures create something conventional stand architecture cannot: visibility beyond the boundaries of the floor.

The same principle of the flying cloud/ceiling was later turned vertically and used as a large-scale projection surface for a major cultural event, transforming a lightweight membrane from spatial element into communication medium. It was used at the ceremony for the prestigious, highly endowed Körber Prize, which the TAO founder received in 1999. The inflatable ceiling was turned into an inflatable projection screen for the presentations.
